Owner’s Lounge
The Owner’s Lounge is Left Door’s most intimate private room, designed for 10–15 guests. Red velvet banquettes, warm lamplight, and an ornate mirror create a richly layered setting for dinners, birthdays, and client evenings. Guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, top-shelf spirits, and satisfying bites with attentive service in the privacy of their own room. It is an ideal choice for a small gathering that should feel polished, personal, and distinctly San Francisco.

Semi-private
Ember Lounge
Ember Lounge offers a warm, semi-private setting for 10–15 guests. Layered sofas, patterned walls, vintage art, and a fireplace give the room the relaxed character of a beautifully appointed home. The mix of lounge seating and cocktail tables makes it comfortable for guests to settle in, mingle, and enjoy food and drinks throughout the evening. It is especially well suited to birthdays, team gatherings, and cocktail-forward celebrations that call for an intimate atmosphere.

Semi-private
Union Street Lounge
Union Street Lounge gives 15–30 guests room to circulate across a connected series of intimate seating areas. Velvet curtains, floral walls, upholstered chairs, and low cocktail tables preserve the lounge’s moody, residential feel even as the guest list grows. The layout supports both easy mingling and smaller conversations within the same gathering. It is a versatile choice for cocktail receptions, company events, and milestone celebrations.

Full Buyout
A Full Buyout gives up to 70 guests private use of the entire second-floor lounge. The connected rooms offer distinct places to gather, from intimate banquettes and fireside seating to more open areas for mingling. This flexible flow allows the evening to evolve naturally while keeping every guest within the same richly designed setting. It is the most complete option for milestone birthdays, company gatherings, wedding celebrations, and other occasions that deserve the whole house.

Start With the Essentials
Choose your occasion, party size, date, and time. Your recommended space and preliminary minimum update as you build.
Groups of 7–10 may make standard reservations by phone or email, or choose to rent a space. Groups of 11+ must book through Events. Smaller groups renting a space are subject to that space’s minimum spend.
We’ll recommend the best fit for your guest count, or you can choose another space with enough capacity.
Dates fewer than 14 days away require a custom estimate from our events team. Online estimates are available Tuesday–Sunday. Pricing varies during holiday and peak seasons; applicable date adjustments are included in your estimate.
6:00 PM–9:00 PM · 3 hours. A three-hour minimum applies. After-hours selections include a prorated premium and must end by 2:00 AM.

Seasonal food and desserts, cocktails, wine and champagne, dedicated staff, and event service. Beverage upgrades are reflected in the food and beverage minimum; entertainment and printed materials are added as separate planning allowances.

What group sizes can you host?
Left Door hosts private and semi-private events for up to 70 guests. Groups of 7–10 may make standard reservations by phone at 415.295.2042 or email at hello@leftdoor.com, or opt to rent a space. Groups of 11+ must book through Events.
What is the spend minimum?
Food and beverage minimums start at $2,000 for Owner’s Lounge and Ember Lounge, $2,250 for Union Street Lounge, and $8,000 for a Full Buyout. Minimums depend on guest count, date, duration, and space. Union Street Lounge has a $500 site fee; Full Buyouts have a $1,000 site fee. Pricing varies during holiday and peak seasons. Your proposal confirms final pricing and availability.
